The Ark is mineral, so far fewer unit mods apply to it. On the flip side, they are vulnerable to arc damage and a larger variety of negative status effects than pure biological or mechanical units. Then again, it's probably going to stay away from the fray and use its unique communion with all mod to buff the rest of the squad for damage and for healing.
